The Handsome Beasts are an English heavy metal band who surfaced during the new wave of British heavy metal. Currently enjoying a resurgence in popularity, their album Beastiality is infamous for being featured on several “Worst album cover of all time” lists.

Excellent title track a favourite way back when in the MC clubhouse. Recommended.

Above average New Wave of British Heavy Metal band with tongue placed firmly in cheek moves swiftly from tracks like “hairy legs” to the far more serious and classic “The Beast Within” effortlessly. Some choice guitar solos over heavy riffing make for an album to remember from a band that survived the eighties. Some may say that the production is starting to date on this album but this should sit nicely in your back catalogue of NWOBHM music.
Don’t let the cover but you off this is just an indication that they are not taking themselves too seriously.
Full disclosure: I played piano and strings on the title track of this album way back in the nineties and enjoyed every minute of it.
