This new Nordic band are fantastic. Like a modern cross between punk band Discharge and rockers Motorhead, The hateball is rolling is a killer track, but my favourite is superstar destroyer, proper kick ass metal this album is the best new metal/punk I’ve heard in a long time, and I’d strongly recommend this album.

Genocide Superstars were the Hardcore / Punk side project of the late Mieszko Talarczyk, basically just a bit of fun and relaxation, a means of letting off steam between the stresses and strains of making politically-charged Grindcore with his main band Nasum. Despite not being his main focus, Genocide SS were an absolutely cracking Punk band; a mixture of equal parts Discharge and Motorhead is an often-used description of their music, and that’s close to the mark. Whilst the bands debut ‘Hail The New Storm’ was pretty much no-frills old-school Hardcore in its outlook, this their final album injects a healthy dose of Rock ‘N’ Roll into the proceedings to quite superb effect. With the balance struck just about perfectly between up-tempo rabble rousers and slightly slower more ‘chugging’ material, and with some shout along choruses to die for (check out in particular ‘The Hateball Is Rolling…’ and ‘Danger Danger’) this is superb simple headbanging music at its best. With a twin vocal assault of Mieszko and partner-in-crime Danny Violence livening proceedings up further, it serves to add an extra level of interest to the sound. Unfortunately, Mieszko died last year, making another record by Genocide SS highly unlikely, but at least they left us with this absolutely superb album.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best metal-punk album ever.
This album is amazingly good. Buy it. Its like the Misfits and Metallica put in a blender, only much better. Listen to “”Air, a prelude to Hell”” and “”Hatestomp””, they are two of the best songs on the CD.
