This album is pure 100% adrenaline driven hard rock. Even though this project goes under Don name it is a full band. With songs like ‘One Way Ticket we get to hear some Tommy Shaw style vocal harmonies. This particular song has some great hooks and a very catchy chorus, however the albums highest point is the full on hard rock of ‘Halfway Over The Wall’ check out that gigantic riffs and killer chorus which reminds me of Velocity/Damn Yankees/Warrant etc. To add diversity to the record, we hear female vocals performed by Danielle Brida who compliments the band really well. Daniella sings on the track ‘Everytime You Close Your Eyes’ which is soft melodic ballad a’la Fiona and really fills the record up with emotion. This is one helluva record where every song is hugely enjoyable and forces you to sing along, if you like songs such as Waysted’s “”Heaven Tonight”” crossed with Bon Jovi then check out ‘Fistful Of Dreams’ which just kills me everytime I play it. “”Boardwalk of Broken Dreams”” is a pure melodic rock gem.

What a pleasant surprise this CD was. Don Hosler hails from Pennsylvania and plays some excellent 80s melodic rock. Don is obviously a fan of 80’s rock because every track sounds straight out of the 80’s. This is a must have cd for all fans of: Stryper, Sure Conviction, Anthony and the Animals, Firehouse, and Dokken. Every song is infectious and catchy leaving you wanting more. Highly Recommended!
Runs the gamut from flat out rockers to dreamy power ballads and everything in between.
Does not conform to today’s trendy standards of rap-rock, industrial, or hardcore.
The emphasis is on catchy, hooky choruses built around intense vocal harmonies and good song structures, creating songs that stick in your head hours after you hear them.
This CD boasts a vocal range not heard very often in today’s environment, and is also loaded with many mid-tempo ‘fun rockers’ with a positive vibe and uplifting mood.
This is, put quite simply, a CD with something for everybody-whether you like it hard, soft, or somewhere between the two, you won’t be disappointed.
